Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Technician to join our Lithia Springs, GA plant on the 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 2:30 AM). The role includes operating and maintaining automated equipment, including robotic systems, with a $1.00/hour shift premium and potential after 90 days for another $1.00/hour increase.

You will support daily production, optimize performance, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring quality and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automated machinery and production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions.
• Wamiliarity with robotic systems and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robotic systems using teaching pendants safely and efficiently.
• Work with automated systems, including Noltec equipment (training provided).
• May include batch making duties.
• Adjust machine settings, including product size and pallet configurations.
• Place pallets on conveyors and initiate robotic operations.
• Ensure accurate product weights and maintain neat, organized palletizing.
• Monitor production processes to meet daily schedules and performance goals.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity.
• Support team operations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts and goals.
