Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent; ACT WorkKeys assessment or equivalent.
• Minimum: 1 year operating computer-controlled machine operation incl. robotic/automatic/semi-automatic.
• Preferred: Technical certificate or 6+ months extra training in CNC machine operation; 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe machine during operation to monitor quality and adjust as needed (25%).
• Download or generate programs to direct machine operation.
• Set up and operate machines with proper tooling for current job.
• Maintain material reporting to maximize finished products with minimal waste.
• Perform First Piece Inspection and other QC checks before, during, and after production.
• Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Use lifting devices and mobile equipment to move materials/parts.
• Perform housekeeping and 5S duties as assigned.
