BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for the 2nd shift at our Rainsville, AL facility. Under supervision, you will set up and operate production equipment, read blueprints, and adjust settings to meet specifications and deadlines.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency as you perform first-piece inspections, use measuring tools, and participate in continuous improvement efforts while supporting timely delivery.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent, or ACT WorkKeys certification.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.

Aufgaben

• Operate machines to cut, punch, bend, weld or shape material to specifications.
• Set up machines and confirm specifications from drawings/blueprints/tablet.
• Use lifting devices to move materials and parts as needed.
• Perform First Piece Inspections and quality checks during production.
• Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain inventory and general machine maintenance; perform housekeeping tasks.
