Job summary

Teledyne Storm Microwave in Woodridge, IL is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator (3:15pm-11:45pm) to set up and operate precision machinery. You will troubleshoot and program machinery following written procedures, measuring parts with calipers and micrometers to ensure tight tolerances.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience, strong math skills, and the ability to read drawings. U.S. persons and good dexterity are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Must be a US Person.
• Must be able to lift/move parts and inventory.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, height gauge, ruler.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Good written and verbal communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot and program machinery per procedures.
• Observe machine operation for defects or malfunctions and act accordingly.
• Measure workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy of machine operation.
