Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking a skilled test technician to evaluate refrigerated display cases, perform installation and maintenance of test setups, and ensure equipment meets defined specifications in a manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints and schematics, brazing copper and other metals, and work with HVAC/refrigeration components, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
EPA 608 certified (Level 2 or Universal).
Experience installing, servicing, or troubleshooting HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
Able to read piping and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Set up and conduct prescribed performance testing on refrigerated display cases.
Troubleshoot refrigeration faults.
Evaluate test data and recommend case changes to meet testing standards.
Brazing copper to copper, brass, aluminum or other dissimilar metals.
Maintain test facility and equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
Understand blueprints and schematics.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
