Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking a skilled test technician to evaluate refrigerated display cases, perform installation and maintenance of test setups, and ensure equipment meets defined specifications in a manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints and schematics, brazing copper and other metals, and work with HVAC/refrigeration components, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA 608 certified (Level 2 or Universal).
• Experience installing, servicing, or troubleshooting HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Able to read piping and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct prescribed performance testing on refrigerated display cases.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration faults.
• Evaluate test data and recommend case changes to meet testing standards.
