Carpenter Co. is seeking an Operator A - Rebond for the 2nd shift at our Temple, Texas manufacturing plant. The role focuses on following the daily production schedule, calibrating equipment, and maintaining precise logs to ensure quality output.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience or certification, Hazmat training, and a strong commitment to safety. Good communication and documentation skills are essential to meet productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience or ability to pass certification.
• Hazmat training required.
• Strict adherence to safety procedures.
• Must pass audiometric and pulmonary medical tests.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain accurate production logs.
• High accuracy with focus on meeting productivity standards and continuous improvement.
• Proactive in reporting unsafe conditions and properly utilizing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm receipt of the daily production schedule from the Department Manager.
• Complete the mandatory pre-pouring checklist every day before starting a production run.
• Calibrate machinery to guarantee precise manufacturing outputs.
• Ensure all necessary raw materials and supplies are available to meet the daily schedule.
• Check and verify all machine production codes.
• Maintain constant communication with the Lead Person regarding active pour statuses.
• Keep accurate, detailed, and up-to-date logs of all manufacturing pours.
• Make real-time machine adjustments to ensure finished products meet exact specifications.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure the crane is in proper working order.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.
