Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for an Operator A - Rebond on our 2nd shift at the Temple, TX manufacturing plant. You will maintain strict attention to detail, ensure ingredient accuracy, and deliver finished products meeting quality standards. Training begins on 1st shift during onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience or ability to pass certification.
• Must complete Hazmat Training.
• Must pass mandatory annual audiometric and pulmonary tests.
• Ability to speak clearly and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify daily production schedule from the Department Manager.
• Complete the mandatory pre-pouring checklist every day before starting a production run.
• Calibrate machinery to guarantee precise outputs.
• Ensure all necessary raw materials and supplies are available to meet the daily schedule.
• Check and verify all machine production codes.
• Maintain logs of all manufacturing pours and communicate with the Lead Person.
• Make real-time machine adjustments to meet exact specifications.
• Conduct daily crane inspections and perform other duties as assigned.

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Operator A - Rebond on our 2nd shift team. This position is located at our Manufacturing plant in Temple, Tx.

You will be responsible for maintaining strict attention to detail, ensuring ingredient accuracy, and delivering finished products that consistently meet established company quality standards. Initial 4–6-week training on 1st shift while full team is onboarded. Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operational excellence.

Job Description:

• Confirm receipt of the daily production schedule from the Department Manager.
• Complete the mandatory pre-pouring checklist every day before starting a production run.
• Calibrate machinery to guarantee precise manufacturing outputs.
• Ensure all necessary raw materials and supplies are available to meet the daily schedule.
• Check and verify all machine production codes.
• Maintain constant communication with the Lead Person regarding active pour statuses.
• Keep accurate, detailed, and up-to-date logs of all manufacturing pours.
• Make real-time machine adjustments to ensure finished products meet exact specifications.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure the crane is in proper working order.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.

Skills / Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Forklift experience or ability to pass company certification.

• Ability to complete Hazmat Training.
• Strict adherence to safety procedures.
• Ability to pass mandatory annual audiometric (hearing) and pulmonary (lung) medical tests.

Ability to speak clearly, listen for clarification, and maintain professional records/pouring logs.

• High accuracy and thoroughness with a focus on meeting productivity standards and continuous improvement.
• Proactive in reporting unsafe conditions and properly utilizing equipment.
