Job summary

Americhem is seeking a Quality Testing Technician I for the 2nd shift in Liberty, NC. The role performs specified tests on manufactured products to ensure conformance to specifications and provides production support from start-up to run completion.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with paid benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401k, PTO and holidays. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; Lean/5S training a plus; 1–2 years of

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5S/Lean/Green Belt training a plus.
• 1–2 years’ relevant lab or manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading others preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on manufactured products to ensure specs are met.
• Support production from start-up to run completion and report nonconformities.
• Notify supervisor promptly if quality issues are detected.
• Operate required testing equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate test results and status to shift team.
