Siemens in Knightdale, North Carolina is hiring an Electro-mechanical Quality Test Technician II to perform final inspections on LV/MV equipment, including switchgears and breakers. Shift is 6:00AM - 2:30PM with hourly rate $27.35.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in test/inspection of electrical gear, can read schematics, and are proficient with large power cables and crimping. Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years testing, inspecting and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Experience with test equipment and safe Hi-pot testing.
• Able to read schematics, layouts, and wire lists.
• Proficient with large power cables and crimping connectors.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform final electro-mechanical inspections per quality standards.
• Conduct nondestructive tests and troubleshoot failures.
• Prepare inspection and quality reports with Engineering and Wirers.
• Follow Environmental and OH&S policies and be a strong team player.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
