Job summary

Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry Co Inc in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Technician to help ensure every casting meets customer specifications. You'll perform chemical and mechanical testing on aluminum alloys, and conduct non-destructive testing using X-ray equipment to identify internal defects. You will support new product launches, document results, monitor trends, and provide backup NDT support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience performing chemical and mechanical tests on metals is required.
• Familiarity with NDT methods such as industrial X-ray testing is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping for test results.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and mechanical testing on aluminum alloys.
• Conduct NDT (X-ray) and other non-destructive tests to identify defects.
• Support product launches with material testing and first-piece inspections.
