Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing seeks a qualified Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift in Northlake, Texas. You will monitor and measure products on the manufacturing floor, perform first-piece inspections, and escalate nonconformances to ensure customer specifications are met.

Responsibilities include applying quality checks, supporting containment of defects, and maintaining accurate documentation while collaborating with multiple work centers.

Qualifications

• Performs quality checks and monitors products on the production floor.
• Reads and interprets operator checklists and job element sheets.
• Uses gages and inspection tools to verify conformance to specs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and gauge raw or welded parts to customer specs.
• Verify first piece inspection and approval per processes.
• Support containment of nonconforming products and document findings.
• Perform daily quality checks and Layered Process Audits (LPA).
• Maintain clean, safe work area and assist multiple work centers as needed.
