Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions and procedures.
• Some technical knowledge and tool use experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying instructions and gathering parts and tools.
• Position parts using general knowledge and bills of materials.
• Fasten parts with hand tools, electric or pneumatic.
• Maintain safe, clean workspace and 5S participation.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment and tools.
• Strive to meet safety, quality, cost, and productivity targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve production methods and quality.
• Learn multiple assembly stations and apply lean concepts.
