Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing Inc in Mason, OH seeks a meticulous Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift (FPI NDT / CMM). The role includes training to become a certified Level II inspector and ensuring products meet strict aerospace and gas turbine standards.

You will verify conformance with customer specs using precision tools, document FPI/CMM results, and assist as needed on the CMM side if workload shifts. A strong quality-control background is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) production operation experience preferred.
• Experience in aerospace/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with CMM software (Calypso/OpenDMIS/MCOSMOS) required or preferred.
• Experience with CMM machines (ZEISS/Mitutoyo/WENZEL) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Performs and documents FPI test logs and reports.
• Loads/unloads parts and inspects with precision measuring tools.
• Maintains and calibrates CMM equipment.
• Analyzes measurement data to identify deviations from specifications.
• Interacts with engineering and CNC operators to optimize measurement processes.
