Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. in Mason, OH is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector for Airflow on 2nd shift. You will ensure airflow-related parts meet precise specifications, with training available to become a certified inspector.

Responsibilities include loading parts, performing airflow tests, recording results, and supporting CMM tasks if needed. The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, CMM experience, and proficiency with calibration tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) production operation experience preferred.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, aerospace industry preferred.
• Experience with Calypso, OpenDMIS, or MCOSMOS software.
• Experience with ZEISS, Mitutoyo, or WENZEL CMM machines.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and measurement techniques.
• Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts for airflow testing and other duties.
• Verify conformance of finished parts to customer specs with precision measuring tools.
• Prepare parts using foil tape and sealing wax.
• Perform and document scheduled airflow tests and record results.
• Analyze and interpret test results.
• Document airflow test logs in Excel.
• Interpret GD&T to complete inspections.
• Clean parts using degreaser and washers.
