Job summary

Alianza is seeking a detail-oriented 2nd Shift Quality Inspector in Gastonia, NC to ensure metal-mechanical automotive components meet customer specifications and internal quality standards. The role involves visual and dimensional inspections, recording results, and supporting quality improvements across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing quality inspection experience is required.
• Experience inspecting automotive, metal, or mechanical components is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Dependable attendance and ability to work full scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of metal automotive components.
• Use precision measuring equipment and CMMs as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications; verify conformance to drawings and GD&T.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability; prepare NCRs when needed.
• Support PPAP, control plans, inspection plans, and work instructions.
• Monitor processes for quality compliance and assist with corrective actions.
