Job summary

Alianza in Gastonia, NC is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Quality Inspector to support a fast-paced automotive manufacturing operation. You will inspect metal components, read blueprints, and use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs to ensure conformance with engineering specs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on quality inspection experience, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to document findings clearly, maintain traceability, and support corrective actions and NCR processes.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools.
• Previous quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Identify defects and determine conformance to specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of metal components.
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products.
• Read blueprints and interpret technical specifications.
• Verify components meet tolerances and GD&T requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability.
• Support NCRs, PPAP, and corrective actions as needed.
