Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. is seeking a QC Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift quality lab and supervise QC operations across multiple shifts, driving continuous improvement and ensuring testing of materials and finished product samples.

The role requires a BS in a related science, hands-on HACCP/GFSI experience, and proficiency with common QC instruments. You will partner with R&D, Production, and QA to sustain product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a related field (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Food Science/Technology).
• Experience with HACCP, FSP, ISO 22000, SQF, BRC or equivalent GFSI criteria.
• Experience with QC instruments: pH meters, refractometer, densitometer, colorimeter, GC, water activity meter and turbidimeter.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support 2nd shift QC team and lab operations across multiple shifts.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement for deviations and complaints.
• Maintain and calibrate lab methods, SOPs, and QA programs with cross-functional partners.
• Ensure daily testing of materials and finished products per established SOPs.
• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Safety, and Warehouse to maximize quality outcomes.
• Support internal audits and QA initiatives; act as on-call Food Safety & Quality support.
