Synergy Flavors, Inc. in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Quality Technician I for 1st shift to support testing of incoming raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. The role requires working 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with daily laboratory testing and data reporting.

You will use pH meters, refractometer, GC and other QC tools; ensure conformance to specifications; and prepare Certificates of Analysis. A science degree or equivalent experience is required, with experience in flavor/Lab

Qualificações

• Experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, SQF, BRC or equivalent GFSI criteria preferred.
• Proficiency with QC instruments (pH meters, refractometer, densitometer, colorimeter, GC, auto titrators).
• Ability to analyze data and generate Certificates of Analysis.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

Responsabilidades

• Test daily raw materials, intermediates, and finished products per SOPs within specifications.
• Perform sensory evaluations and other testing as assigned (RFI, Brix, pH, turbidity, etc.).
• Analyze data and generate reports/COAs with relevant specification information.
• Acquire microbial samples maintaining a sterile environment.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain records.
