Responsibilities include approving incoming materials, verifying in-process specs, sampling finished products, and maintaining inspection records while ensuring a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications and performing tests.
• Verify in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating adjustments.
• Sample all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests on Lumber.
• Identify and segregate products for re-work and complete documentation to confirm re-work.
• Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with company policies.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
• Learn the Treating Process and assist operator in daily operations tasks.
