Job summary

Mayzon is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for 2nd shift (3 PM–11:30 PM) to inspect in-process and finished products, ensuring compliance with specifications and customer requirements. The role involves documenting results, identifying nonconforming materials, and supporting QA initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

You will read drawings, review BOMs, use calipers and tape measures, and maintain inspection records while communicating issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills to complete documentation.
• Ability to use measurement tools and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of products and assemblies.
• Review orders, BOMs, and specifications to verify requirements.
• Select and inspect samples according to inspection plans.
• Evaluate product quality: dimensional, functional, visual.
• Identify and document defects or nonconforming materials.
• Complete inspection reports and DMRs as required.
• Verify materials during production setup and throughout process.
• Use tools like tape measures, calipers, and scales for accuracy.
• Maintain inspection records and documentation.
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors and production teams.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
