Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC seeks a 2nd Shift QC Technician to assist with quality procedures, monitor production batches, and maintain QC data. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

You will communicate deviations and work with the QC team to ensure products meet standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong math and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and strong math and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel; comfortable with computer tools and data entry.
• Up to three years in quality control in manufacturing is helpful; batchmaking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check production batches against standards.
• Advise batchmaker on adjustments to achieve specs.
• Recheck batches after adjustments until within specifications.
• Record results in D365 and monitor QC metrics.
• Calibrate QC/QA equipment and follow QC manual requirements.
