StaffUp is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector in Houston, TX!

Pay: $19/hr

Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM, Monday to Friday + overtime

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, or finished products
• Uses measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical inspection, and computerized inspection devices as needed
• Rejects and returns nonconforming materials and/or products that do not meet specifications and requirements
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs
• Participates in quality control/assurance activities
• Engages in performance improvement activities, utilizes resources efficiently, and takes responsibility for personal learning

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pre-employment background check and drug test required
• 1-3 years of experience as a QC inspector
• Knowledge of measuring instruments
• Clear, professional, and effective communication skills

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, and manipulate objects in various postures
