Job summary

DuPont is hiring at the Valley View site for a Production Technician on the 2nd shift, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. The role involves operating presses, ovens, and basic assembly equipment with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will follow SOPs, inspect products for defects, and use precision gauges. Workers may be asked to work holidays or overtime and are eligible for a $1,000 onboarding bonus after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of 5S organizational practice.
• 2+ years prior manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses, ovens, and basic assembly equipment.
• Ensure quality and conformance with SOPs and equipment instructions.
• Visually inspect final product for defects (FOD) and customer specs.
• Use inspection gauges (micrometers, calipers, Keyence gauges) and templates.
• Complete in-house training to obtain inspection stamps.
