Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Production Tech 1 (sanitation crew) for the 2nd shift. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and assembling equipment, maintaining sanitary production floors, and assisting in breaks and rotations. Ability to lift up to 300 lbs and work in variable temperatures is required.

Willingness to overtime and a high school diploma are preferred; 90 days of food manufacturing experience at a Nestlé factory is a plus. Pay is $25.13 per hour and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Follow safety rules and procedures including PPE usage.
• Observe GMP and USDA policies.
• Push dumpsters up to 1500 lbs over distances per shift.
• Lift refuse barrels up to 300 lbs and dump as needed.
• Move around work area on uneven, wet surfaces.
• Attend overtime as needed.
• Follow EPSU training guide.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Recognize hazardous condition indicators.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and assemble equipment per sanitary standards.
• Maintain sanitary conditions on the production floor and dispose of waste.
• Assist in break and lunch rotations for production.
