Job summary

Prospiant is seeking a Production Team Leader for the 2nd shift in Appleton, WI. The role trains, directs, and motivates staff to meet production goals and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work, ensuring SOP compliance, and leading problem-solving efforts using 5Y/Root Cause analysis. The position requires strong communication with cross-functional teams and ongoing KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school education; 1–3 years of related leadership experience or training; may be on an Individual Development Plan.
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional development; may include offsite training/travel.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety and security procedures and encourage reporting of unsafe conditions.
• Lead training for all new hires and support ongoing training for team members.
• Determine priority/sequence of parts based on production/shipping schedule.
• Ensure standard work is followed and SOPs are adhered to.
• Direct daily tasks to meet production rates and quality control standards.
• Oversee multiple machines to meet production rates and customer demands.
• Communicate cross-functionally with Production, Warehouse, Shipping, Maintenance, and Scheduling.
