Job summary

Grammer AG is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Team Lead to guide daily operations, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and maintain accurate SAP records. You will train new staff, coach team members, and help drive continuous improvement across the production area.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. Core schedule is Monday–Friday with potential weekend work; on-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or team leadership preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong English reading/writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production team members in daily operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Monitor and maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Communicate operational concerns, production issues, and performance updates to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Perform production-related transactions and data entry within SAP.
• Assist with onboarding and training new employees and support ongoing employee development.
• Promote adherence to all company policies, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and actively support a culture of workplace safety.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to help achieve departmental objectives.
• Assist in identifying and resolving production issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the production area.
• Perform other duties as assigned

2nd Shift Production Team Lead

What are your main tasks?

Lead and support production team members in daily operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.

What are your qualifications?

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

This specific position is 2nd Shift only.

Core schedule is Monday - Friday but some weekend work may be required.
