Job summary

GRAMMER AG in Delphos, Ohio is seeking a Production Scheduler to plan and schedule manufacturing activities that meet customer releases and deliveries. The role acts as a liaison between customers and the plant to ensure on-time production and efficient shipping of finished goods.

The ideal candidate brings at least two years of scheduling experience, proficiency with SAP and MRP systems, and strong problem-solving skills to keep production flowing smoothly in a fast-paced automotive components

• Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Minimum 2 years Production Scheduling Experience.
• Experience with MRP and scheduling systems (SAP).
• Ability to identify urgent or emerging problems and engage colleagues for timely corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule production output.
• Manpower – schedules each job with standard manpower by way of press/assembly
• Maintain inventory levels to meet production schedule
• Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to prioritize needs
• Guides material planning for on hand component inventory to build production to customer needs
• Monitor inventory adjustments and cycle counts
• Coordinate forecasts with Production Manager
• Track schedule performance vs. production actuals
• Monitor customer computer systems for daily changes
• Prepares and distributes customer releases
• Participates in year-end inventory planning and counts
• Customer requirement reports with weekly and monthly information
• Production Performance
• Promotes IATF 16949 compliance

Production Scheduler’s primary responsibility is to plan and schedule production based on customer requirements, which are provided to us by way of customer releases or shipment, to act as liaison between the customer and the plant, to relay requirements, and ship finished product in an efficient and timely manner.
