Job summary

The Fountainhead Group, Inc. in New York Mills, NY is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead the molding floor, ensure safe and efficient production, and drive quality commitments. You will manage daily workflows, coach operators, and uphold company safety standards.

Salary ranges from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential. Join a long‑standing, family‑owned manufacturer with strong benefits and community programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead and develop a multicultural, multilingual workforce.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Solid problem‑solving abilities with root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, communicate, and monitor daily workflow to ensure smooth, efficient operations and on time production.
• Work directly on the floor alongside operators, providing hands‑on support and guidance as needed.
• Ensure all products are manufactured to quality standards and production requirements.
• Assist with machine setups, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance support when required.
• Train, coach, and cross‑train operators for competency across workstations.
• Monitor employee performance and document concerns per policy.
• Maintain Time & Attendance records and ensure policy compliance.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
