The Fountain Group is seeking a Production Supervisor (Night Shift) for a Williamson, NY location. The role oversees packaging beverage production on night shifts (6:00pm–6:00am) on a 2-2-3 schedule, with direct-hire permanence and benefits.

Salary range is $70,000–$85,000 per year. Responsibilities include directing operators, managing budgets, ensuring safety and quality, and driving continuous improvement across multiple high-speed lines.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) with ability to track productivity.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred.
• Ability to develop and deliver group presentations to staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach production operators to execute daily/weekly production schedules for multiple lines.
• Manage within labor and operating expense budgets.
• Coordinate beverage packaging ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.
• Meet productivity, quality, safety, and morale goals for the site.
• Record production data and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and working safely.
• Propose improvements and long-term solutions for equipment and process changes.

Job Description: The Production Supervisor manages and coordinates the activities of production personnel engaged in packaging beverage products for storage & shipment, including providing leadership, direction and facilitation on multiple high speed production lines.

• Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedules for multiple packaging lines.
• Manage within labor and operating expense budget.
• Coordinate beverages packaging ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.
• Meet the productivity, quality, safety, health, environmental and morale goals established for the site.
• Complete and update all necessary production paperwork and record.
• Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times.
• Review and analyze production records to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Make recommendations for long term solutions, including recommendations for replacing equipment, refurbishing equipment, procedural changes, productivity improvement, material change, etc., related to the area of accountability.
• Drive the continuous improvement agenda in area of responsibility through teamwork, skills and capability development.
• Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
• Manage and facilitate employee and management relationship within the guidelines of the labor contract and company policy.

Requirements:

• H.S. Diploma Required, Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred
• 2 years previous management/supervisory experience preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word with demonstrated knowledge of productivity tracking
• Experience with SAP or similar system preferred
• Must be comfortable developing and conducting group presentations to employees and management.
• Provides current, direct, complete and "actionable” positive and corrective feedback to others
