Job summary

Alliance Workforce Management is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd Shift at a leading food processing facility in Owasso, OK. The role oversees daily production, staffing, safety, and compliance to ensure efficient, high-quality output.

You will lead a team, enforce USDA and GMP standards, and drive continuous improvement across processes, while maintaining accurate records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in meat processing or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of meat processing operations and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of USDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and quality control requirements.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities and ensure schedules are met safely and efficiently.
• Assign duties and manage staffing levels to support production requirements.
• Coordinate startup activities and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
• Adjust production schedules to meet changing demands and inventory needs.
• Enforce safety programs, USDA regulations, and food quality standards.
• Train and develop production employees, operators, and team leads.
• Monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping, attendance, and production documentation.
• Collaborate with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Logistics to resolve issues.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Monitor efficiency, quality, yields, and labor performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve methods, workflow, and equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate production reports and records.
• Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
