Job summary

ONWARD SEARCH in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations on-site. This role focuses on safety initiatives and continuous improvement, with responsibilities to coach hourly staff and manage KPIs.

You will enforce ISO/IATF standards, champion Lean practices, and lead 5S and Kaizen projects to boost efficiency and reduce waste. A strong leader with manufacturing experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising hourly production staff and managing KPIs.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, including 5S and Kaizen.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to foster a positive, accountable team culture.
• Manage daily manufacturing activities to meet scheduled goals and optimize productivity.
• Promote and uphold safety standards, leading 5S initiatives and safety training efforts.
• Ensure all production and quality standards are maintained, supporting ISO and IATF compliance.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
