Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee multi-phase in-house and external production to meet on-time delivery. You'll schedule work orders in our MRP system and adjust staffing, collaborating with the Production Manager on forecasts and capacity planning.

Coordinate with HR on staffing, provide performance feedback, address equipment/process issues with Engineering, and champion safety and continuous improvement with lean practices on the floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience and a manufacturing background.
• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing management or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience leading teams on the shop floor.
• Experience with production scheduling and lean manufacturing.
• Familiarity with inventory costing concepts and Pareto principle.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP tools, ideally NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Work Orders for daily production needs across cells.
• Maintain staff hours, attendance and time in software.
• Collaborate with HR on staffing, temp workers, and policy adherence.
• Provide performance feedback to Supervisors and Managers.
• Communicate with Production Manager and Engineering on issues.
• Ensure safety standards and PPE compliance on the floor.
• Oversee inventory costing through production processes.
• Lead training for Leads and staff on equipment use.
• Support continuous improvement, lean kaizen events.
• Develop standards of quality before products leave the facility.
• Help implement KPIs and visual management on the shop floor.
