IDEXX Water is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a 2nd shift at Scarborough, ME. You will coordinate operators and team leads across multiple product lines, drive staffing, and partner with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time, high-quality output.

You will apply Lean principles, manage compliance-related records, and coach staff to develop skills and engagement while delivering reliable products to customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus leadership experience.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Proven ability to lead diverse production teams.
• Experience with SAP and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a diverse team of operators and team leads to meet daily production and quality targets across multiple product lines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Quality Control and Engineering to ensure product quality and availability.
• Recruit, orient, and train staff; develop growth opportunities.
• Manage staff, assign work, monitor activities, evaluate performance and resolve issues.
• Use SAP daily to close production orders and reconcile labor/material variances.
• Use Compliance Quest to close quality records on time and keep training and audits current.
• Ensure access to current controlled documents and verify with coaching and floor checks.
• Coordinate and assist other production supervisors to meet goals.
• Create procedures and documentation to support process changes, new products, and equipment.
• Identify and implement measures to improve training, methods, equipment performance, and quality.
• Create and present quality and production reports for management.
