Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Scarborough, ME facility on the 2nd shift.

Lead a diverse team across multiple diagnostic production lines, driving Lean improvements and regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality products worldwide. You will work with cross-functional teams and use SAP daily to manage orders, and with Compliance Quest for quality records, while developing staff and ensuring on-time production.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with leadership experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead and delegate a diverse production team.
• Proven coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience with regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production goals are met through effective staffing across multiple lines.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Engineering to ensure quality and availability.
• Recruit, orient, and train staff; develop growth opportunities.
• Manage staff, assign work, monitor activities, and address issues.
• Use SAP daily to close production orders and reconcile labor/material usage variances.
• Utilize Compliance Quest to close quality records and keep training/current audits.
