Kennametal Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Roanoke Rapids, NC to support the manufacturing floor and ensure efficient operations.

The role involves managing confidential materials, coordinating safety and quality initiatives, and guiding teams to meet production goals. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of manufacturing supervision experience or 2+ years of technical training with strong leadership, and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and lean practices.

Formación

• Minimum high school education; a 4-year degree is preferred with at least 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Alternatively, 2+ years of formal technical training beyond high school and 3–5 years of people supervision experience.

Responsabilidades

• Understand day-to-day responsibilities for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).
• Routinely conduct safety audits and develop action plans.
• Report progress to Department Manager, EHS Administrator, or Plant Manager.
• Plan and direct daily activities within the department, directly or via group leaders.
• Manage order-processing flow to achieve on-time delivery and lead-time goals.
• Identify maintenance issues and ensure timely maintenance is completed.
• Recommend staffing changes to meet production needs.
