Kennametal Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to provide leadership on the Roanoke Rapids, NC floor, ensuring efficient operations, safety compliance, and meeting production goals. Responsibilities include planning daily activities, coordinating with group leaders, and managing resources and schedules.

The role requires hands-on supervision, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• Experience supervising manufacturing staff.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of environmental, health and safety issues.

Mansioni

• Plan and direct daily department activities, directly or through group leaders.
• Manage order-processing flow to achieve on-time delivery and lead-time goals.
• Identify maintenance issues and ensure timely completion of breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Recommend staffing changes and overtime to meet production requirements.
• Specify and requisition tools, fixtures, spare parts, and raw materials where appropriate.
• Review and monitor productivity with year-over-year improvements.
