Job summary

HSM in High Point, NC is seeking a Supervisor to lead a diverse production team, translate priorities into schedules, and keep production moving by coordinating across departments.

You will champion quality, apply lean methods, ensure safety, and partner with HR and management to address issues. Requires 3–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing and experience with MRP/ERP systems. This on-site role offers growth and on-site amenities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in industrial sewing, assembly, or a comparable manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years using an MRP/ERP system for production planning, material management, or reporting.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, quality requirements, and safety.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and hold employees accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team of production employees.
• Translate production priorities into clear work assignments and expectations.
• Develop schedules to maximize resources and handle changing workloads.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor production activity and adjust staffing and priorities as needed.
• Coordinate workflow across departments for clear communication.
• Use data and judgment to make timely decisions.
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles and support 5S and continuous improvement.
