Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Production Supervisor on 2nd shift to lead a production department and coordinate with other supervisors. You will direct daily activities, manage approximately 15 hourly workers, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production, and interpret reports to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
• High School diploma or GED
• Manufacturing, warehouse and supervisory experience
• Demonstrate mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes
• Excellent math and written/oral communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer skills
• Experience leading, coaching and developing a team and delivering performance metrics
• Knowledge of OEE, Lean or TPM manufacturing principles
• Hours: Monday–Friday 3pm–11pm

Responsibilities

• Directing, coordinating and planning activities of a production department under master production schedule
• Lead a group of hourly employees (up to about 15)
• Communicate procedures to subordinates and ensure understanding
• Interpret reports, cycle times and job orders to workers and assign duties
