Job summary

Slingshot Inkhouse, the apparel decoration division of Slingshot, seeks a 2nd Shift Lead to drive production and serve as the primary technical resource on the shift. You will actively participate in production, guiding the team and ensuring operational excellence on the Inkhouse floor.

The role requires at least 3 years in production or supervisory roles with hands-on screen printing knowledge. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 1:00 PM–9:30 PM shift and a compensation package

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a production or supervisory role.
• Hands-on knowledge of screen printing; embroidery or related processes a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Directly operate and maintain assigned machinery to meet daily targets.
• Execute the production plan and work orders provided by leadership.
• Maintain and setup state-of-the-art production machinery.
• Champion a quality-first mindset with inspections and rapid troubleshooting.
• Provide daily technical coaching to production staff; escalate as needed.
• Ensure quality control, safety, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
