Forte Opening Solutions in Thorp, WI seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee plant activities, lead the production team, and ensure KPIs are met. You will use production boards, drive lean improvements, and coach staff to achieve targets while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with leadership to optimize processes and manpower.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven leadership in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to coach and develop employees.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Experience with lean tools and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with HR and financial concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant activities and production to meet KPIs.
• Lead and coach teams; review metrics and implement countermeasures.
• Maintain data integrity of production boards and lean metrics.
• Conduct lean process audits and training on lean tools.
• Assist with talent development and performance management.
• Communicate across levels to ensure alignment on priorities.
• Direct production according to schedule and optimize resources.
