Job summary

Coilmaster Corporation in the United States is seeking a production team leader to drive daily output, quality, and delivery targets. You will own staffing, workflow, problem-solving, and floor-level communication to enable success.

The role requires hands-on leadership of 5+ team members, with responsibility for safety, efficiency, and ERP-driven reporting. You will collaborate with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and Warehouse to remove roadblocks and sustain 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing coursework preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing leadership role (lead, supervisor, or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing a team of 5+ employees in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, standard work, and material flow.
• Comfortable using computers—email, ERP transactions, basic reporting, MS Office.
• Experience with ADP/Workday preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assign work, set expectations, and adjust staffing to meet schedule demands.
• Monitor production flow, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and labor usage.
• Hold team members accountable to safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards.
• Support, coach, train, and onboard employees—reinforce correct methods and behaviors.
• Verify product meets specifications; escalate quality or equipment issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate ERP transactions, production reporting, and daily shift documentation.
• Partner with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and Warehouse to remove roadblocks.
• Enforce 5S, housekeeping, and safe use of tools, machinery, and PPE.
• Lead shift huddles, communicate priorities, and provide feedback up and down the chain.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as needed to support production.
