Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead 2nd shift production operations on the Jefferson, Ohio line.

This hands-on role covers machine and mold setup, troubleshooting, and driving shift performance, with oversight of safety, quality, and efficiency targets on the production floor. You will supervise staff, coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams, and ensure clear shift handoffs to leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in injection molding with supervisory or lead experience.
• Ability to read process sheets, work instructions, and quality specs.
• Strong leadership and on-floor communication skills.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support 2nd shift production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met
• Oversee mold and machine set-ups, changeovers, and process adjustments
• Troubleshoot machine, mold, and process issues in real time to minimize downtime
• Monitor cycle times, scrap rates, and overall production quality
• Train, coach, and develop machine operators and set-up technicians
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve recurring issues
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized production floor
• Communicate shift performance and handoff notes to plant leadership and the incoming shift

Our client, an established injection molding manufacturer in Ashtabula County, is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead 2nd shift production operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows the injection molding process inside and out — from machine and mold setup to troubleshooting and driving shift performance.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and support 2nd shift production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met

• Ability to read and interpret process sheets, work instructions, and quality specs
• Strong leadership and communication skills; comfortable managing a team on the floor
• Availability to work 2nd shift
