Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift in Jefferson, OH, to oversee an injection molding operation. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, quality, and meeting production targets.

You will supervise 2nd shift staff, manage mold and machine set-ups, troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime, monitor cycle times and scrap, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to resolve recurring problems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in injection molding with supervisory or lead responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of mold and machine set-up and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read process sheets, work instructions, and quality specs.
• Proven leadership and communication skills; comfortable leading a floor team.
• Availability to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support 2nd shift production staff to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Oversee mold and machine set-ups, changeovers, and process adjustments.
• Troubleshoot machine, mold, and process issues in real time to minimize downtime.
• Monitor cycle times, scrap rates, and overall production quality.
• Train and develop operators and setup technicians.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve recurring issues.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized production floor.
• Communicate shift performance and handoff notes to Plant Leadership and the incoming shift.

Monday - Saturday - 02:45-11:00PM

Our client, an established injection molding manufacturer in Ashtabula County, is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead 2nd shift production operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the injection molding process inside and out - from machine and mold setup to troubleshooting and driving shift performance.

• Supervise and support 2nd shift production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met

  What You Bring

  • Strong leadership and communication skills; comfortable managing a team on the floor
