Job Description
Position Purpose
This position is responsible for leading select manufacturing operations and personnel by identifying and implementing “best in class and industry” practices, technologies, and methodologies in the high-end commercial furniture space. Ensure safe, efficient, and timely production of high-quality goods and services at the lowest possible cost.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Function as the manufacturing operations leader in support of daily business requirements, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time production within budget and quality standards.
- Work with key stakeholders to drive process improvements and technological advancements that enhance safety, quality, cost, and service.
- Lead projects and cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and develop effective processes, procedures, and solutions to meet business needs.
- Provide training on new practices, technologies, and methodologies; monitor and report results; perform administrative activities such as user issue resolution.
- Support new product development through manufacturing input, pilot runs, prototyping, etc., as needed.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, business, or high school diploma/equivalent.
- 5+ years of manufacturing supervision experience; furniture-related manufacturing background, especially in textile cutting, sewing, and upholstery, is a plus.
- Understanding and experience in Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of safety and quality assurance programs.
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and ability to implement root cause corrective actions.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to handle diverse situations and manage multiple projects.
