Job Details

• Title: Production Supervisor - 2nd shift
• Hours: M-Th, 4:30pm-3:15am
• Location: Spectra-Tech Manufacturing Inc.

Summary

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of production to meet customer and company requirements, ensuring efficient operations, quality, and on-time delivery. Manages manufacturing groups including assembly, soldering, SMT, and testing, while promoting employee involvement.

Responsibilities

1. Manage workflow to meet or exceed delivery schedules.
2. Monitor and evaluate manufacturing efficiency using time studies and process evaluations.
3. Troubleshoot and adjust SMT machines as needed.
4. Enforce operational policies and procedures.
5. Assign tasks and oversee personnel daily.
6. Identify training needs and recommend improvements.
7. Report staffing needs to management.
8. Communicate production output via daily reports.
9. Maintain a clean and orderly manufacturing floor.
10. Administer disciplinary actions when necessary and report major incidents.
11. Evaluate employee productivity and efficiency.
12. Request supplies and tools as needed.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
