Job summary

Reeb Millwork in Mocksville, NC, seeks a seasoned manufacturing leader to oversee daily operations, enforce safety, and drive product quality through a skilled team. You will manage production planning, training, and compliance with OSHA and company standards.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience and a proven track record in supervisory positions. You will mentor staff, coordinate with HR, and champion continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Five or more years experience in a manufacturing environment with 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
• Five plus years in management/supervisory position with 2 years in a manufacturing facility (PLUS).

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety procedures and policies and ensure a safe work environment free of hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other government agencies.
• Ensure proper compliance and execution of HAZMAT program.
• Ensure co-workers follow safety rules and demonstrate safe behavior.
• Drive overall quality for products built, shipped to and received by customers.
• Strive to ensure quality outcomes the first time, correct quality errors, and fix processes to prevent recurrence.
• Demonstrate equipment operations and train new employees or assign mentors.
• Collaborate with HR to resolve employee concerns and grievances.
• Train and develop co-workers in their jobs.
• Hire, train, evaluate, discharge, and resolve personnel grievances.
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records to determine requirements.
• Set and monitor product standards, test during processing to ensure quality.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment for defects.
• Manage production with minimal waste and errors.
• Participate in monthly safety committee meetings.
• Investigate accidents and develop corrective actions; manage safety improvement plan.
• Conduct monthly site safety inspections and weekly toolbox talks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
