Lignetics Inc. in Hayward, Wisconsin is hiring a Production/Packaging Operator for the 2nd shift. You will be responsible for bagging and baler operations, operate machinery safely, and assist other production areas to keep lines moving.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and read scales. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; forklift experience and training are a plus, with benefits including insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
• Good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
• Must read and interpret scales.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting for baler/maintenance.
• Ability to do simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• The packaging operator performs bagging and baler operations as directed by Shift Leads.
• Operate machinery in a productive, safe manner according to guidelines.
• Assist other production areas as needed.
• Move and wrap completed products.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for at least 7 hours per day.
• Assist Shift Leads to start and stop pellet mills.
• Communicate moisture or material problems to Shift Lead.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Other duties as assigned.
