Job summary

Ascentek Services, LLC is hiring for a production worker on 2nd shift in Shreveport, LA. You will operate filling and packaging lines, label products, and palletize finished goods while meeting quality and safety standards.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided and you will follow written work orders to produce several products and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role includes lifting up to 70 lbs and working in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with quality and safety procedures in a production environment.
• Basic mathematical understanding for production measurements and counts.

Responsibilities

• Follow written work orders to produce and package various products.
• Operate bottle-filling, sub-assembly, and labeling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Gather raw materials, assist with line setup, and produce samples for quality inspection.
• Fill, label, pack, and stack products onto pallets after quality approval.
• Report defective materials, quality issues, or equipment concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned machines as needed.
• Complete tasks in alignment with daily schedules and priorities.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Package and label bulk materials for replenishment orders when required.
• Follow changes in workload or scheduling and participate in training.
