Job summary

Ascentek is hiring a Production Machine Operator for the second shift on-site. You will perform line production, label, pack, and stack products, verify inventory with the JDE system, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 1 year of related production line experience and a high school diploma or GED, with a shift from 2:45 pm to 1:25 am, Monday through Thursday, on-site. Great benefits and a $1 shift differential apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a good command of the English language and the ability to read, communicate, and understand written instructions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line as they occur.
• Understanding of KPMs and manufacturing packaging line processes.
• General Quality & Safety Awareness
• Understanding of Lean Principles
• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Basic mathematical abilities
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation or line production operations to mass produce products onto a pallet.
• Receive materials and verify inventory using a computerized warehouse management system.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely deliveries to customers.
• Produce bottle-filling assemblies and sub-assembly machines per work orders.
• Set up production lines and produce samples for quality inspection.
• Label, pack, and load products onto pallets after inspection approval.
• Document production performance and quality; follow safety regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines as required.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and report repairs as needed.
